"..to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until all of us come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to maturity, to the measure of the full stature of Christ."

Workshops
Various workshops which centered around our theme were offered in two blocks of time.

Worship
There were three worship times, each included singing, a story about "God's work among us" and a sermon. Three different speakers, Larry Miller, Mark Vincent and Virgil Vogt each presented sermons focused on our assembly theme. Children's time was included in the Friday evening time.

Business sessions
This year our main focus of business was the new structure for the conference, which was approved by the delegates.

God's work among us
Attendees heard stories about how God is working among our congregations.

Illinois Mennonite Conference met on June 1-2, 2007 at Madison Mennonite Church in Madison, Wisconsin for our Annual Assembly. There were 97 congregational delegates who gathered to worship, attend workshops hear stories of God's work among us, fellowship and tend to conference business.

We would, again, like to thank Madison Mennonite Church for their hospitality. Volunteers from Madison prepared wonderful meals and welcomed a few participants into their homes. All of this was much appreciated.
